How to start a browser game
Start Radiant Optimizer Games with a checklist for input, downloads and game files. Understand launch labels, open the original project, and avoid guesswork.

Check input and file requirements, open the original project, allow its resources to finish loading, and confirm an actual interaction before treating the game as started.
Check four things before opening
Identify the project, your input device, the setup requirement and the last recorded check. A title such as Halo or Skate 3 can refer to an unofficial project rather than the complete original game. A keyboard-and-mouse requirement matters even if the landing page fits on a phone. No-game-files means no separate data set was identified in the workflow; it does not mean no network transfer. A source-page check is useful context, but it does not guarantee that the engine can run on your device.
Open the original project in its own tab
The directory displays the destination domain beside the launch action. Its links open independently operated websites, so their cookies, accounts and controls belong to those sites. There is no game canvas embedded in this directory. Read the project landing screen before continuing. In our DOOM check, selecting Play Solo was the path into solo menus. In QuakeWorld, a player name and Play button opened a separate client URL. These workflows should not be collapsed into one universal instruction.
Let the first resource load finish
A browser game retrieves JavaScript, compiled engine code, images, audio and possibly large data packages. The Kino launch screen displayed 330.5 MB, illustrating why no installer can still mean a long first load. Watch the actual progress indicator instead of relying on a promised number of seconds. If progress advances, keep the tab open. If it stops or reports an error, note the message and consult troubleshooting. Browser caching may help later visits, but project updates and cache clearing can require downloads again.
Handle game-data requirements explicitly
Some projects expect files from a copy you already own. The Skate project page states a converted-copy requirement, but we have not confirmed a complete conversion recipe or compatible file set. That is a reason to inspect the project's current instructions, not to guess filenames or follow a generic ROM download. This directory supplies no game data and does not claim that a project's engine includes its original retail content. If you cannot provide the required data, use the no-install shortlist to find a different preparation path.
Activate input and confirm a response
A game canvas can require a click before accepting input. Mouse-look projects may request pointer lock, while audio playback can also depend on interaction. These browser mechanisms are explained in MDN's Pointer Lock documentation. Our Kino attempt encountered a pointer-lock restriction in the test environment; completing its download did not establish gameplay. In 2048, arrow-key input changed the visible score from zero to four. Those are different evidence levels. Test one basic action first, then check saving or multiplayer separately if you need those features.
Keep a useful record when something fails
Record the exact address, browser, input method, error wording and furthest step reached. Say whether a button appeared, resources downloaded, the game rendered or controls responded. Avoid calling an entire project broken based on a restricted connection. The fault-finding guide turns those observations into next actions, and About lists the correction contact. A successful external click is an attempt to start, not telemetry proving that you played.
